Position summary

OneBreath Vermont is seeking a licensed therapist who embodies a holistic, integrative, and person-centered approach to mental health care. This clinician will provide psychotherapy services, support individualized treatment planning, and collaborate with psychiatric and wellness-oriented services in a way that reflects the practice’s whole-person philosophy.

The ideal candidate values relationship-centered therapy, sees healing as more than symptom reduction, and is interested in helping clients build resilience, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and deeper engagement in their lives. This therapist should bring strong clinical skill, emotional presence, and a grounded, compassionate way of being to the work.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

·         Provide high-quality psychotherapy services in alignment with clinical training, licensure, ethics, and best practices.

·         Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each client’s goals, strengths, and needs.

·         Support clients in building emotional insight, coping skills, self-compassion, relational awareness, and nervous system regulation.

·         Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically thoughtful documentation within PracticeQ EHR.

·         Coordinate care with psychiatric providers and other members of the practice when appropriate.

Holistic Integration

·         Work in alignment with the practice’s integrative model of care, including guided meditation and spiritual support, HRV biofeedback, mindful wellness practices, and whole-person treatment planning.

·         Respect and incorporate each client’s values, beliefs, strengths, and self-defined healing process.

·         Embrace flexible, thoughtful, and client-centered pathways to wellbeing.

Practice Growth and Community

·         Contribute to a warm, calming, and healing-centered client experience that reflects the OneBreath Vermont brand.

·         Participate in collaborative discussions related to practice development, quality improvement, and future service growth.

·         Support community visibility, education, or outreach efforts as the practice expands.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Must hold an active Vermont license relevant to outpatient psychotherapy practice as a LCMHC, LICSW.

·         Commitment to holistic, integrative, and trauma-informed therapy models.

·         Experience with or openness to mindfulness-based, somatic, motivational interviewing, attachment-informed, or other mind-body approaches.

·         Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

·         Experience with telehealth is preferred if hybrid care will be offered.

Compensation and Schedule

Compensation is expected to fall within a good-faith range of $40-$48 per hour, depending on experience, schedule, clinical strengths, and overall fit. Additional benefits, if any, will be discussed based on the final role structure and hiring decisions.

Vermont Licensure and Compliance Requirements

·         Must hold an active Vermont license relevant to outpatient psychotherapy practice, such as LCMHC, LICSW.

·         License must be in good standing and able to be verified through the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.

·         Must practice within the scope of the applicable Vermont license and maintain all renewal and continuing-education requirements.

·         Must provide license number, expiration date, NPI, and any requested professional documentation during onboarding.

·         If telehealth services are provided, all services must still comply with Vermont licensure requirements and applicable professional standards.
